I agree that scheduling for multiplayer can be a problem — I’ve been using Steam to just notice when other people are playing and hit them up to play multiplayer, but it can be tough.

It’s not quite the same thing, but it’s close enough (and cheap enough!) that it’d be worth checking out if you haven’t already. I’ve really been enjoying it, especially in small multiplayer groups (and I’m looking for more people to play with, if you already play, or end up trying it).
