Wow, so Daniel has made over $1000 so far with this effort. Not bad, though it doesn’t sound entirely sustainable yet.
But maybe I should start thinking about how I could design games that are suitable for custom modifications. You could write a whole blog post on that, I’m sure. Though first I’d have to make some games that are very artistic and popular so people would want a custom version in the first place!
Thanks for writing about this, by the way. I find this monetization stuff very fascinating, and of particular interest to me since I’d ideally like to support myself by making artistic games!
