On My Way to GDC

I am literally on my way to GDC: I’m flying Virgin America, and they have in-flight wifi.

I can’t believe it’s already GDC week. Normally I’d have gone insane prepping and packing, but this year just seemed a lot more low-key. I think the fact that I’m a seasoned business traveler now means that flying somewhere for a conference, even a huge one like GDC, is not a big deal anymore.
I will actually be gone for two solid weeks. One for GDC, and then the next week I’m going to be on-site with my friends at Sligpate Ironworks and at NetDevil (who are both part of the same company now, Gazillion Entertainment). I’m excited about GDC, but I also enjoy going to other companies and seeing how they work from the inside. The more companies you work with, the better you understand how the industry works. I think.
If you are going to GDC, get in touch with me! You can come to my session on Friday, or you can look for the guy in the orange shirt, or you can send me an @reply on Twitter.

Have fun! Which I’m sure you’ll easily do. :D
