But it can also be a gateway of sorts into the larger world of game music appreciation. I myself have listened to game music since the aforementioned childhood, and it used to be something I was a bit ashamed of. Because it was so odd, and because it was something that I had trouble explaining at the time. So when I went out into the larger online world of game music fans, I was always very interested in why people listened to it.

Most people begin listening to it for one of two reasons: nostalgia, or because it partially recreates the feelings of playing the game. Most stop there.

Anyways, I’m rambling. Enjoy the OST, and the taste of childhood.

Not to mention my iPod right now has Xenogears Creed, Persona 4, and Chocobo’s Mysterious Dungeon OSTs on it! I guess I’m more of a game music nerd than I realized…
