I’m on X-Play!

After I gave my talk at PAX a few weeks ago, I was interviewed by Morgan Webb of X-Play. I’d say it was surreal, except (a) I’ve done TV interviews before, and (b) I don’t watch much TV so while I’ve heard of Morgan Webb it wasn’t all that intimidating.

Anyway, here’s the video! It’s about how to break into the game industry. In it, I offer sage advice, like “get a QA job” and “have a good portfolio.”

For the record, Ms. Webb is both very friendly and very knowledgable about the video game industry.

Awesome!

I watch, very, very little TV – I primarily watch web clips. This one was a good one to end the day with.

Great enthusiasm, as always.

Good stuff, Darius!

You should’ve also mentioned “arbitrage your portfolio to a foreign country with less game design competition.”

Nice going!

Did I see a glimpse of Crayon Physics in the slides?

Petri: yep, and there’s also a picture of you with some TIGSource guys, I think. It’s on my “indie” slide :)
