So a lot of the information for GDC 2007 sessions was recently posted. I quickly went through the list of sessions and picked out the ones I’m going to attend and briefly outlined why. I was going to put it all here on the blog, but you can just see it for yourself on my del.icio.us account.
Most of the sessions I chose because I’ve enjoyed past presentations by the presenters. At this point in my GDC-attending career, it’s hard to avoid!

Those aren’t bad picks, my schedule is a bit conflicted between the game design and business offereings. Remember to mix up the usual speakers with something new here and there, after all, you don’t get the most out of GDC by talking/listening only to those you already know.
(speaking from my less-than-robust set of conference experiences…)
It seems like the trick is to identify when a speaker you hear every year always says the same thing and *then* switch away to other things. From what I’ve gathered, there are always speakers like that and I’d say they offer a good opportunity to diversify.
For me, one consideration will be the likelihood that a given talk will be offered for viewing for free online after the conference. If it will be, and it’s a crowded talk, etc. it might be better to just hold out for the video later. It’s a risk, but could help maximize exposure to good talks. =)
