Is it different for a person who is motivated but not talented? What about those who are not well motivated but wouldn’t be happy taking any other path in life?

I figure, you gotta master the indie way no matter how you approach the industry, start thinking about doing something light and innovative while you can afford to, and when you get out into the “real world” you’ll be rolling.
