How do you simulate the act of stalking prey, building an empire, or executing complicated flight manuevers? This kind of abstract thought is the basis of the game and what I believe is called the aesthic of the game (from the Aesthic/Mechanic/Dynamic definition). This leads to all kinds of interesting choices in terms of mechanics or dynamics that properly express the aesthics of the experience you are trying to convey. Darius, I believe you were the one who really looked into this topic, I think you could better clarify what I’m trying to say, assuming I’m not completely off my rocker.
